Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

The Anti-Money Laundering (AML) law regulates certain financial transactions in order to prevent criminal activities within a financial system. It is stated as the "Rules and Regulations Implementing Republic Act No. 9160" to stop the Philippines from turning into a site of money laundering for the practice of unlawful activities.
