Bag Holder is an informal term used in describing an investor who keeps or retains his purchased assets or investments despite a continuous decrease in its value. Most of the time, a Bag Holder chooses to do such with the hopes of a market recovery in the future, risking the possibility of his investments completely losing value if the downward trend persists. This term is used for both traditional and digital stocks marketing.
