Bias-Variance Tradeoff

Definition of
Bias-Variance Tradeoff

Bias-Variance Tradeoff is a type of conflict that emerges when data scientists try to simultaneously minimize bias and variance since it’s not possible for algorithms to be simultaneously more complex and less complex at the same time. This keeps supervised algorithms from generalizing beyond their training set.
