In the context of online communities like Bitcointalk, Reddit, and other discussion platforms, Evil Points are assigned to a specific user reflecting their misconduct towards community guidelines. When a user accumulates a certain number of evil points linked to their IP address, the accounts can be partially or totally banned. It is an instrument used by community managers or moderators to keep the community secured. In some circumstances, banned accounts have the opportunity to be unbanned by paying a small fine. In certain platforms, violators can pay by Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH).
