Process Optimization

Definition of
Process Optimization

Process Optimization is an exercise to identify gaps and breaks in the process while finding solutions on how to improve or streamline the current flow to be more efficient. Normally, Process Optimization follows a flowchart with multiple iterations. This allows the management to study the split of the process in different stages and analyze them separately, see all potential loopholes and inefficiencies, and redesign sub-processes until the expected quality level is achieved.
