Sample is a randomly selected data which is used in the analysis of behavior, a trend of a task, or workflow to determine a theory or proof of concept. In the context of Quality Assurance (QA) audits, only a fraction of information is analized with the assumption that the sample is an unbiased and fair representation of the totality. Data samples are then studied and audited, resulting in QA reports and processes optimization.
