Definition of
Repository

A Repository is a central database where codes, assets, inputs, and outputs are stored and protected. It may also contain other versions of databases and data compiled into one location for a more structured and organized storehouse. Unlike a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), all information about transactions are stored in one device which is usually monitored and managed by a single entity.
