Escalation

An Escalation can be defined as a process of raising a concern of non-satisfactory in performance, service and/or customer experience. Escalation can also be defined when a level 1 agent receives work that is not in scope, hence the work needs to be passed on to the next level of support that may have a higher level of access and capability to resolve the ticket.
