Proof-of-Work

Proof-of-Work (PoW) is a consensus protocol introduced by Bitcoin which is used to validate transactions and produce new blocks to the chain. In PoW, miners compete with each other to get rewards (in a form of tokens) from solving complicated mathematical puzzles.
